william bowen Posted December 19, 2007 Share Posted December 19, 2007 Please excuse the pun about the weather but I have a problem with the way the weather mod works in WAW, if I play with the weather turned off I can usually defeat the Russsians by mid 1943 with fow on as the axis, if I put the weather on it takes until 1945, if ever. The other day I went from dec 1942 until may 1943 without once getting my planes into the attack HUH! Not a complaint just an observation. Surely every gamer knows it is the axis that sets the tempo of the game in the early years and the weather affects them the most,I am not saying play with the weather being turned off but can the weather mod be changed to something in between than what I am seeing? rleete Posted December 19, 2007 Share Posted December 19, 2007 Yes, weather slows you down, but I think it does so far too much. It's not like the Germans never flew a sortie when it was snowing.
