Voxman
Just downloaded a Microsoft update for Outlook XP and it is again blocking my attachments. Anyone know how to unblock the attachments ? I think I did this before, but no I cannot remember and it is not in the help commands. Thank you
Schrullenhaft
There's probably an easier way than mentioned in this Microsoft Knowledgebase artilce, but it should suffice. I suggest that your opponent zip their files, which should also allow the attachment to come through (and make it a little harder to corrupt).
Harv
Another option is to use this. It seems to work very well, and it's easy to turn the options on and off as needed. WWB
I would not advise unblocking attachments. With all the security holes floating around, it is better to deal with the inconvenince rather than rebuild after a virus. Not that it should effect CM files, as text files are not executeable per se so it should not interfere with them. If you need to get at a blocked attachment, you should be able to forward the file to a yahoo account or somesuch and get it from there.
