The Commissar
Ive only played the demo so far, but I haven't heard any real cussing on the Russian part. Which is a tad dissapointing because I wanted a game reallistic enough to make my mother blush! When I get the game (ordered Saturday, live in Buffalo) Ill get the translations done if no one does it by that time.
Tim S
A translation of Russian was done on this forum in the early days of the CMBB demo. I don't know, or haven't checked if there are more phrases in the full game. The difficulty, at least for me, was that a simple 00080000.wav Gunner! At the enemy! Fire! didn't do it. I think what's needed is the wave # plus the Russian phrase, written in western script, then the translation. I don't know if there is such a thing as western script for Russian but I'm hoping it's possible to do. Here are the (demo) translations that were posted here about a month or so ago. 00080000.wav Gunner! At the enemy! Fire! 00080001.wav Gunner! Destroy the target! 00080100.wav Enemies canon ahead. Fire! 00080200.wav At the infantry! Canister! Load! Fire! 00080201.wav At the infantry! Canister! Load! Fire! 00080300.wav Enemies tank ahead. edgars
I thought of doing a translation, but there's too many WAVs, too little time. I would be ready to share some part of the work with other people, that way it would be doable for me.
