Bog
I've noticed that the more obscure British tanks (Challenger, Comet, Archer, Wolverine) don't see as much play in scenarios. I don't think any of the scenarios that came with CM have these. Can anyone tell me of a scenario that has these tanks in them? I would love to play them. Firefly
Gary Barr (aka Sgt. Steiner) has just submitted St. Joost to Manx's Combat Missions site. http://www.combat-missions.net/ It plays well as the British vs. the AI and includes Cromwells, Challengers and Churchill Crocs. Aacooper
Not sure where you can find it now (it's an AL conversion), but "Infatuate II" has an English Funny (so far, I'm playing as Germans and that's all I've seen).
Michael Dorosh
I have Infatuate II on my hard drive, I can email it to anyone interested. ------------------ http://wargames.freehosting.net/cmbits.htm
Kingfish
**********SPOILER******** * * * * * * If you guys want to play with British funnies (at least the ones modeled in CM) then I highly recommend Wild Bill's "To the last man".
Firefly
To be fair the Comet and the Challenger were not 'funnies' just later war tanks that weren't available in large numbers. The closest thing to a 'funny' in CM is the Churchill Crocodile. The term 'funny' normally meant things like like flail tanks, bridge laying tanks, amphibious tanks and the apocryphal Sherman converted to peel potatoes .
