curih
Why not make a gap in the river and use a roadblock or a wall. There's no way to get an actual dam, but it'll give the idea.
Texas
On one of the Combat Mission web sites that I was on there was a screenshot of a dam that someone had on their map. At least it looked like a dam. I will go to a few sites and see if I can find it and will get back to you. ------------------ "Hey,Kenny. Whatever happened to Jody?" Texas
Sorry, Dbroe, looked all over the web and never did find it. You could make one yourself using your favorite bmp editor. I made a small dam this way by editing the file 390.bmp, which is the stone bridge bmp. As always, BACKUP any file you are going to mess with. The dam I made looks pretty neat, although it could be a little darker, for my taste. You use it by placing it just like you would a stone bridge. By the way, now all of my stone bridges look like a dam! When I get tired of bridges being dams, I just replace my edited 390.bmp with the original. ------------------ "Hey,Kenny. Vergeltungswaffe
Try this: http://combathq.thegamers.net/special/dam/dam.asp and http://combathq.thegamers.net/special/dam/dam2a.asp These are links to a dam that Madmatt did.
russellmz
generally u set the height of terrain as 5m in parameters(?) instead of 2.5. next, set the dam height as 19 or what ever height u need and make a line of 19 height pavement tiles. on the next line of tiles set the height at 10 or about half the max height. at the next set the height at 0 or ground level. ie, ergo, ex) 19 19191919191919191919191919191919191919 10 10101010101010101010101010101010101010 0 00000000000000000000000000000000000000 add some water tiles(maybe the ford type?) and voila! hope that's helpful ------------------ "They had their chance- they have not lead!" - GW Bush "They had mechanical pencils- they have not...lead?" - Jon Stewart on The Daily Show
