John Kettler
When it comes to writing AARs and other similar activities, I've found to my frustration that there seems to be no way to access how I deployed my troops prior to starting the PBEM. Is there some trick I'm missing? Even having the foe's password wouldn't give me the info I seek. If I'm not wrong, and there is no such provision in CMBO, will there be a way to do this in CMBB? It would be a handy thing to be able to revisit exactly how one positioned one's units prior to game start. If not available in CMBB, please add this into the request list for CM II. Kwazydog
John, why cant you just save your game after youve deployed your troops? Dan
Panzer Leader
Uh, not sure if I understand, but how about viewing turn one before hitting play?

John Kettler
Will these suggestions work if one didn't save game after setup? I know I didn't. I appreciate the help. Regards, John Kettler

Michael Emrys
Not only do I always save after set up, I save after each orders phase (always remembering to rename the save to the current turn). That way, if for any reason I want to go back and view a turn I can, although of course what you will see after you hit "GO" will vary in some detail. Too bad there isn't some way at present to save the action phase. Michael [ August 29, 2002, 04:14 AM: Message edited by: Michael emrys ]
