(I have the same problem on my laptop) Also, considering the fact thap laptops with wider resolutions are becoming more common, I really do think there ought to be a fix for this. It can't really be that hard and the game series is still popular enough to make such a fix worthwhile. J.R. Posted December 10, 2007 Share Posted December 10, 2007 Most widescreen laptops offer settings to scale apps to the 3:4 ratio. For example, my laptop has a setting in the video card options (NVIDIA 8400GT on a Dell laptop) to scale to correct aspect ratio. I play CM at 1024x768 on my widescreen laptop and it shows as a 3:4 screen with a blank bar on either side of the screen. Look for verbage like that and play around a bit with the graphics settings-- you should find it. Now if I could only get CM to play nice with Vista...
