Hans
There was a scenario in that old game called 'Two countries, one island' that I'd like to re-create as a CMBB battle. I have a copy of the map but my old program won't run on my new computer. Does anyone have the particulars about that battle, set up and points? Lars
Hey, I remember that one! Fun little game. I don't remember the particulars though. You can't get it to run in a DOS shell?
Mercury
Hans I think I may be able to get hold of the details for you next week. My dad still has all the detailed scenario info for PG. I'll look it up next time I'm over at my folks house. Send me your e-mail and when I have it I'll send it!

Quinxi
Have you tried using the compatibility mode in windows XP? Install the game and then right click on the games icon , in properties you can launch the game in compatibility mode. Probably won't work but thought I would mention it. Yea it was an excellent game for its time.

Wretch
I never heard of Perfect General, but then again I'm only 16. What was it like? [ November 16, 2002, 06:43 AM: Message edited by: Wretch ]
Hans
Ah well, I found Perfect general when I was in Saudi and had nothing to do. Played some scenario a hundred times or more! 2D, generic units, not the brightest AI in the world but a fun little game (for that period). Kinda of a embryonic Close Combat without the historical theme. Hey Quinxi post more!
Quinxi
OK I will. Lost my copy (or sold it) a long time ago.
