A little to much rock for me.

Ok CMAK gives me why I bought it. I wanted US against German battles with CMBB futures. But when I play a QB on a generated map then it is a little bit to rocky for me. I'm not talking about the dessert maps here. When I try to make a map in the editor I like to see an option besides sand/ arid rocks and dirt. For example grass. This way it is easier to create France maps 1944 and 1945. Maybe it is easy to build this in the next patch.

Otherwise I will have to wait for CM-X2 ;)

the confusion here is that dirt=grass

yes it would make more sense to many to have grass=grass, but select dirt and you get grass.

Also note that early years in Italy have yellowish grass and plants, later years (44 and 45) have green grass and plants.

Which seems to be the devs showing the progress from southern italy to northern italy.

So select late 44 or 45, Italy, dirt, and it will look just like the mountains of Normandy.

Hey, you're right! I hadn't noticed before that there isn't a 'Ground type' option for QBs!

What you could do is create a pile of maps in the scenario editor and throw them into the QuickBattle Maps folder for future use. Just make a random map, replace any unsightly rocky features with fresh grass or bushes, then save.

I'm becoming more and more fond of using pre-made maps into QuickBattles.
