Hpt. Lisse
Two items. First of all, I just wanted to thank you for your tireless Tech Support efforts on behalf of all the CM games. You've truly become an invaluable resource to this board, and I wanted you to know that many of us are greatly indebted to your efforts. Secondly, I heard some time ago that the CMX2 engine was going to use OpenGL instead of Direct3D. Has this decision been made? Hpt. Schrullenhaft
As far as I'm aware, the decision has been made to use OpenGL as the next graphics API. I assume, but don't know, that this will be true for the PC platform as well as the Mac platform. Considering the reduction in coding effort to transpose the two APIs, I assume that Charles will stick with OpenGL on the PC. This should give him a little more time to work on engine enhancements in place of coding for an additional graphics API.
