Kryan
Hello All, I want to ask about sharpshooters, about effects and ways of using them because in manual there is written nothing about this kind of unit.

Treeburst155
Sharpshooters are difficult to spot, even when they fire. Sharpshooters themselves, spot very well. Place them where they have good LOS and leave them be. They will fire at tank commanders if the tank is not too close. Sometimes they kill the TC. Even if they don't, they cause him to button up. Treeburst155 out.
Omi
Snipers are nearly invisible to the enemy if they stay at least 150-200m away from them and avoid being in the open. They are very useful if you are defending or doing a meeting engagement. They can spot and indentify incoming enemy forces quickly. I wouldn't recommend using them on the attack since they aren't very good at spotting and killing entrenched enemies. It's fairly easy to make a sniper sneak all the way behind enemy lines and kill tank commanders, mortar and MG crew.
MikeyD
sharpshooters are especially talented at taking out tank commanders. That seems to be their primary function, in that its difficult to get them to consistently target other unit types on their own. It seems if presented with multiple targets they'll got for the TC every time. Back in CMBO this would be devastating because a dead TC would pretty much equal a dead tank! But in CMAK the tank will eventually recover and continue the fight, thus reducing the sharpshooter's impact on the game.

In CMAK, they can fire all their munition.
