edgars
Hi! Is it possible to replay a QB from both sides? Say, you set up a quickie, save it on turn one, and after you've fought it out, say, as Allies, play the exactly same battle from the Axis perspective loading the turn one file? The manual is scarce on this. I tried to use the "Load from file" button in the QB map selection dialogue, but it doesn't import any troops. Does troop import works only with ended battles?
Yaphank
Use play by e-mail, and just send the file to yourself.
Brent Pollock
Play Hotseat and never leave the seat. Also, for hotseat, no actual Password is required in the Password field: just hit Enter.
edgars
Perhaps i wasn't clear enough. What i want is to play the battle against AI until the end. And then play the same battle (again, against AI) but from the other side.
The Hapless General
Well, if you save the QB in the setup, you can then re-use the map, but not the troops, as they are not really there as part of a scenario. If you would like to face the exact same troops, you can of course choose the troops for both sides...
Meach
Make the scenario in the Editor and save it. Should let you choose sides when you go to play it. I tested this last night and made a 750pt ME QB. Played as Germans and then played it as the Russians. Same troops, same map.

Yes. Wonder why. Seems that all the necessary things are there, map import, troop import. However troop import for some reason works only with ended battles. Pitty... On second thought it is probably impossible to avoid some cheating issues with PBEMs. If you would like to face the exact same troops, you can of course choose the troops for both sides... [/QB]Also true. But it's just too big hassle. I wanted a simple and quick solution which apparently isn't there.
MikeyD
Yeh, I've always wished for a 'make scenario' button on QBs so when I come up with the perfect randomly generated game I could capture it for posterity. Unfortunately, it just don't work like that .
