Today I was going to meet my friend at university and play a hotseat game for CMBB on a map that was going to be on the extreme cold setting to honor the -45 celcius weather we are currently dealing with in Canada. I packed up my laptop and my CMBB cd and bundled up to catch public transit to university but upon arrival there i opening my jewel case containing the cd to find that the cold had caused it to snap into several pieces Some greater power did not want me to play the game today...anyways just thought i'd share my little story...keep those CD's in warm places! 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Conscript Bagger Posted January 14, 2005 Share Posted January 14, 2005 When you get another disc, burn yourself a backup to play with and keep the original safe & warm at home (creating such a copy is allowed by the EULA as I understand it). Cannon-fodder Posted January 20, 2005 Share Posted January 20, 2005 stikkypixie try turning it into an ISO file, then mounting that onto the CD. That always works for me.
