Der Kuenstler
When a HMG jams and you put him on "hide" does he continue to work on removing the jam or just hide?
dieseltaylor
I suggest someone tests it out : ) BTW unjamming seems to take 50secs or so - I think crew rating has a small effect. I look forward to your next post!
Slappy
I think the time to unjam is highly variable. I've had regular units jammed for up to five minutes at a time. It doesn't happen often, just when an entire batallion needs to walk through their fire lane to flank my entire defence.
stoat
I was bored this morning and I did test it out. MG-34, -42, -34LMG, US .30, and US .50 all removed jam while hiding.

securityguard
I think during a JAM, since they aren't firing, they turn into an icon in most situation anyways. Hiding them would be cool for a suprise attack though. I've had one dude hide his MG42's after my gun shelled it, then when I got a little closer he unloaded on me through an arc.
