Sergei
Judging by the wit and humour of his comments, this Beholders guy would probably do well in the Peng thread.

Sir Kozakh Dragonfire
I have no difficulty in admitting that I know nothing about Ukrainian language but I thought that you used the 'i' istead of 'ы' as in your signature (BTW what does it means?).It is a motto engraved on my sword It can be translated as "Death to all undead!" and is written in old church symbols. BTW, our "і" stands for Russian "и".
Glider
... It can be translated as "Death to all undead!" Isn't that 'death to all (things) unliving'?

flamingknives
Are the undead such a problem in eastern Europe?

Sir Kozakh Dragonfire
Rus. -> Ukr. "i" -> "i" "и" -> "ї" "й" -> "й" "ы" -> "и" Almost. In old Russian alphabet there were both "i" and "и" letters. They were used in different words. "I" was mostly used in older words. The "ї" letter doesn't have an analogue in Russian. It's purely Ukrainian. It sounds like "йі". The Russian "й" and "ы", as you noted, are equal to Ukrainian "й" and "и" respectively. To undead reindeer cavalry: Isn't that 'death to all (things) unliving'?Hmm, this is much more accurate translation than mine. Thank's Glider!

Yes, but I thought that those were merely covering the depredations of Christopher Lee.
