Rob Murray
Unfortunately I can't use it ( not unless I get rid of Gordon's yellow Tiger CMMOS mod - which isn't going to happen )I checked the bmp numbers as I was going to copy the generic mid war Tigers - so I'd have a choice & your mod has the same bmp numbers as his so I might have had a real mess if I had installed it - didn't want to risk it. I have your late Tiger mod ( abt. 505 - all versions ) & I love it. [ January 12, 2003, 04:28 AM: Message edited by: Rob Murray ]
MikeT
Rob Murray, this new Tiger will be CMMOSed by today. So you can have it and Gordon's Tiger too. In fact I have already some 20-30 vehicles in CMMOS that haven't seen the light of day. I just need to test them and make sure I have don't any typos. Next up a German uniform CMMOS mod that will be the most complete "tailoring" feature seen yet. MikeT

MrNoobie
Next up a German uniform CMMOS mod that will be the most complete "tailoring" feature seen yet cool i will hold off on d/l ATF uniforms, are you planning to do the ruskies as well?
MikeT
I go the new vehicle in CMMMOS now. I just need to test it, along with some 30+ other vehicles. As far as uniforms go, I have a rather ambitious CMMOS idea worked up. It has been OKed by Gordon but I still need Andrew's permission to use his bmps, since I have to change some around for some variant ideas. I already have JorgeMC's ok to use his uniforms. I already have AndrewTFs quilted Soviet uniforms in a CMMOS but I have to break it up by infantry type next. That will take about an hour. BeauCoupDinkyDau
Very nice. More bi-color mods like that are needed IMHO. And ambush? Where are the ambush camo mods?
BadgerDog
Outstanding.... Glad it's going to come out CMMOS compatible... (Salute) Although I sincerely appreciate their efforts, I don't understand why more modders don't release their creations in CMMOS format. I think this program is one of the greatest add-ons to CMBB/CMBO I've used. It certainly simplifies my enjoyment and use of a lot of mods and enhances the sense of immersion effect within gameplay when I'm easily able to install them. Just my two cents...
MikeT
I was very weary of CMMOS, but now I have done some 30 plus mods it has become very easy. I have a system now and I can crank out the mods faster than Gordon can send me the ruleset numbers. MikeT
MikeT
I have finished the mods now and only need the rule numbers from Gordon then I can test, fix problems and then submit then to the CMMOS group. For anyone interested here is what I have to do: Russian Uniforms: Russian cold weather (non-snow) quilted uniforms for set 1 (1941-43) by AndrewTF infantry/mech/mountain/ski airborne cavalry guards and mechguards naval infantry tank vehicle crews Russian snow weather quilted uniforms for set 1 (1941-43) by AndrewTF infantry/mech/mountain/ski airborne cavalry guards and mechguards naval infantry tank vehicle crews Russian winter snow smocks for (1941-43) by JorgeMC infantry/mech/mountain/ski tank vehicle crews Russian winter snow smocks for set 2 (1944-45) by JorgeMC tank vehicle crews Winter (cold and snow) fur hats to replace garrison caps for Russian sets 1 and 2 by MikeT-- (speaking of this it will be easy to do but do you since only a single bmp is applied per set by per unit I am either applying only one bmp per mod or I will write it to do a blanket swap. Do you have an opinion on this one way or the other??) So far I have contacted several people and no has said no. If I missed anyone and you don't want your mods converted let me know and I will trash it, or save it for myself only. If anyone wants their vehicle or uniforms CMMOSed let me know. I am getting good at this, most mods are simple and quickly done. I do wish you would add a new more options to the mix though. Rob Murray
I think I just soiled myself!!! Can't wait for all that stuff to come out. I wish that I could do stuff like that .
MikeT
Rob, you can. I was surprised how easy it is when I tried. Most mods are very straight forward and easy. What I did was to create a sample mod folder with blanks of files. I just follow the hints, fill in the blanks, create simple bmps and such. Read the tutorial that someone posted on the forum. If you cannot find it let me know and I will email it to you. I will even help you learn how easy it is to CMMOS a mod. Far easier than the mod work actually. I don't release in CMMOS format because I'd rather spend the time actually making the mod. I'm sure others would prefer me to make mods, rather than spend loads of time converting them (I do release quite a few mods...)
