Rob Murray
When & where are Fallschirmjaeger first avaible in the game? I don't have a strategy guide ( I know..., I'll get one when the revised & corrected version comes out ). I want to use Andrew's excellent Fallschirmjaeger series asap. Thanks in advance.
MG-42
Hi Rob, I suggest you pop along to the Scenario Depot and look out a battle entitled "Air Assault" In this battle scenario you attack with FJ forces only. Hope that helps MG-42
landser
FJ troops are available in the Central region starting December '42. Don't know if and when they become available in the other regions. [Edit] In fact there are German airborne troops available then, but they're Pioneer units. Late in '43 I think Aufklarung become available. But it's not until about February '44 that troops labled as Fallshirmjager become available in the Central. I assume that only FJ troops are paratroopers, and the Pioneer and Aufklarung are not? Glider troops? They don't bear the FJ designation in the units selection screen. Warmaker
I've played with the FJ almost as much as the Waff.SS in CMBO (and that's a damn lot) and have grown a liking to them. I still have yet to play a CMBB game with them. They're hiding in those rosters somewhere...
Rob Murray
Just found them in '41. They're hiding up North - not Finland.
