Scythe
I know this question sounds kinda stupid but I haven't been able to find the answer. Gamespot.com says CMBB came out in October 2003 (this month in other words) IGN says it came out almost a year ago in 2002 And the price of the game is $45 which seems to indicate it is a recent release since most games drop to like $20-30 a year after their release. So when did it come out?
Andreas
About a year ago. BFC does not have a habit of dropping price while sales are still strong, I guess.
Zitadelle
BFC announced that they would take pre-orders on September 7, 2002 (according to my VISA bill). And, according to the BFC archieved news, pre-ordered copies of the US domestic version started shipping on September 20, 2002. Days that will live in infamy....
Panzertruppe
The original CMBB came out about a year ago. The CDV "Special Edition" just came out a few weeks ago. Why is it 45.00? Because it's still the best tactical wargame you can buy......period! With the Special Edition you get many more scenarios and around 450 megs of the best "mods" for the game. Note.....most of us that are CM veterans believe the games are "priceless". Kaiser Soze 71
I won't forget that day. Why? Because on 4th of October 2002 Turku, Finland got few copies to the stores and I hunted CMBB by calling to different shops. Then one shop told that they got 4 CMBB. I begged the lady to reserve one for me (their policy is not to take reservations). She melted when I told, that it is my birthday and put one aside. 4th of October IS my birthday (and you thought I lied to her ).
