jamesroe16
I downloaded an intro music for cm and converted it from mp3 to wav and tested it before i installed and it was fine, but in the game it sounded just like the chipmonks had placed there music on here. Please help.
Bone_Vulture
Most likely you botched the sample frequency... It's definitely somehow connected to the conversion process.

von Lucke
Check the audio format. CM .wav files should be PCM format / 44,100 Hz / 16 Bit / Stereo.

It doesn't have to be that complicated! The point is: if the sound file plays just fine outside CM (try playing it on Winamp, for instance), then it's a file spec issue. Check the properties of some existing CM sound file, then compare those to the one you converted.
jamesroe16
yea it is a mono file, but my converter won't change it to the stereo file. If there is someone out there that would like to change it for me let me know.
