synystr
Saying its 1-4 weeks to order to canada is a bit long, candian customs bad or not. Just wondering if this is an over exaggeration or what. I am in Alberta.

it's Les
Let's see I am in Central Ontario. HC by the way is from Quebec. And currently SC is a shelf item in Canadian EB locations, but then it waited like 2 years to get there. Last seen for 19 dollars.
BigDog944
I ordered CMAK from Battlefront.com, and it arrived within a week. I think they are overly pessimistic about our Canadian Customs officials!
Friendly Fire
I have ordered 4 battlefront games into Vancouver. (the good Vancouver, not that suburb of Portland). Each arrived in about 1 week. If you want the games just order them.

BigDog944
Ahh, Friendly Fire! I'm proud to hear that you are from Vancouver, B.C., as am I! It's nice to know that the No. 1 spot of the SCPBEM league is occupied by a local! Perhaps I'll bump into you some day...
Friendly Fire
hi dude, welcome to the virtual neigborhood. the way the standings work in the PBEM league is a bit bizzare so having the #1 spot really isn't that much of a claim to fame. if you want to get together for a beer I am open to that idea... I can even bring my laptop. Anyone else from Vancouver on the forum??
BigDog944
After spending an evening drinking pints of Sleeman's Honey Brown Ale, I can vouch that Friendly Fire is a top notch guy. Cheers!
Avatar
In case anyone doesn't know, I'm a (proud) canadian too. Anglophone living in Quebec... man, you westerners DONT know what that's like. All the francophones like to state that they're a minority in Canada. Canadians are a minority of North America.... well I'm a minority in a minority in a minority! And now, I'm living in germany, so i'm still a minority! Heck, I don't even know what it's like to live in a land where english is the primary language!!
Friendly Fire
BigDog and I had fun. I manage to hack into a local wireless connection & played a few PBEM turns live from the pub. It was interesting to talk SC (and other games) live with somebody instead of via the forum. Avatar, ahem, we live in Vancouver, this is not Alberta you know, half the damn city is ESL!
