Question about gamey move to Iron Ranger

Some month ago Iron Ranger posted about a game vs a "new" opponent that kicked his ass due to some gamey tactic.

Iron said that he would let this guy have his fun and then reveal what it was. With the upcoming of sc2 I think it is time Patric that you tell us all about this.

Here is the Terif's great answer on the subject

In 1943-1944, AA bug can decide the whole war. If both side get AA L3 and Jet L4 imagine the difference.

Alternative 1:

Axis strike from Norway and France towards UK and inflict 7+3=10 points on average. UK/USA inflict 7 on average. That means UK/USA must spend 40% extra MPP to afford this air war. They do not afford it and instead keep silent, fleeing their air or selling them

RESULT: Axis got air superiority and can now lay siege on UK

Alternative 2:

UK strikes first before Axis. UK/USA inflict 10 points and Germany 7 points on average. Germany cannot reinforce all their air so they must back off with some strength 5 or strengh 6 air to Italy to prevent them from being wiped out next turn.

Next turn both side reinforce. The turn after that, Allies attack again. Now Axis have some air in Italy so they have less air in France than before.

RESULT:

Eventually, Germany wont afford it and now Allies can use tranport+air+carrier threatening brest and drive toward Paris in a few turns.
