Does the VG Late have higher accuracy rates than the rest...? Schrullenhaft Posted August 14, 2001 Share Posted August 14, 2001 It's not modelled in CMBO and most likely will not be modelled in CMBB either. It was just too rare to include. Apparently the combo of infrared seachlight-equipped half-tracks and infrared-sighted Panthers had a couple of engagements (can't remember which front - possibly Western), but I don't know if these were really confirmed or not. For those people who are pointing out that the IS-3 and SturmTiger are on the list to be included, but saw little to no engagment time in WWII... Warmaker Posted August 15, 2001 Share Posted August 15, 2001 From what I understand the earlier versions of these nightfighting Panthers only had infrared gear for the commander which is quite limiting but better than nothing. Later ones had extras for the gunner at the very least. Heard about even infantry weapons like an MP-44 having these rather bulky attachments.
