Blackhorse
All, I have been throughly fulfilled with all my mad mod desires in all areas but one...water. European Rivers appear black, not Caribbean blue. I've tried to create my own blackened version, but it looks like junk. Would one of you artsy fellas, that has more talent than me, be so kind as to work up a mod that makes the water in CM look like the actual water seen in Europe? I believe the CM community (especially those in Europe) would be eternally grateful. TIA, Chris
Tanks a Lot
Is this water dark enough?
PawBroon
Good enough for me. I wanted to do a dark green but yours will be perfect. Have it hosted or mail it my way please: marcel.vie@wanadoo.fr

Jarmo
Looks very good. Could you get it hosted somewhere? Especially welcome since I got bumpy looking water I don't like with some scenario pack.
Lempereur
I think it needs to be more brown in color.
Wittmann
Salutations Blackhorse! I too have noticed european rivers are dark, but most definately muddy...if you can see 6 inches below the surface, it';s a bloody miracle!
Tanks a Lot
I just finished making a water and ford mod based on the water below. Please don't make me do it all over again in brown. Should I release it as it is? Any comments on my rough mod?

It glitters and if it is very flat, can reflect like a mirror. So a field of flat black like in that mod, doesn't work at all. --Rett
PawBroon
You might notice it's neither flat nor plain black. It looks better than the vanilla blue we have to date. Believe me, there are NO blue rivers in Europe...

But for those of us who don't want to have to wear radiation protection goggles when we play, it looks like plain flat black. --Rett
Tanks a Lot
It is definately not flat black. Screenshots always make it look darker and wash out some detail. You shouldn't have to turn up the brightness on your monitor if you install this mod.
