JAK
Hi, I posted awhile back about my 733mhz p3 (Windows Millenium is what I'm running) not displaying fog and someone mentioned a fog emulation setting. Can anyone tell me were this magical gadget is? PLEASE HELP!
Col Deadmarsh
The problem wouldn't be with what Windows edition you're running or your processor, it would be with your graphics card. What kind of vid card do you have? I know that the Voodoo and GeForce cards will show fog but my friend has an ATI Rage and can't display fog in his games no matter how much he fiddles with the settings. ------------------ Youth is wasted on the young. gunnergoz
Are you talking about the shift-w key command?
Pak40
I think most graphics adapters will have 3D settings that can be toggled on/off. The fog setting is one of them. Check to be sure you have the latest drivers for your exact card and look for the fog toggle options.
JunoReactor
If you have a NVidia card, go to the control panel, display, properties, advanced, directx and find and enable the option to emulate fog tables.
Guest Mikey D
In the meantime you can toggle the weather effects off & on to help you along, In the little help button (in does say 'Help', right?) at the bottom of the game controls.
