EricM
OK I've been playing for over a year and just finished a game and could not figure out an US ammo icon. US paratroop squad that had an what I thought was an extra bazoka round icon. I figure it was extra ammo for the bazoka teams when they ran out. Tried moving my squad next to the empty bazoka unit but nothing happen. Now I think it might have been rifle grenades. Is it possible in the game for squads to carry extra ammo for the bazokas? And if so how do you supply them with your ammo? Eric
Pvt. Ryan
It was a rifle grenade. Units cannot carry ammo for other units in CM. When a unit runs LOW on ammo it can scrounge and/or conserve ammo so that it can continue to fire at a reduced rate. Units such as mortars and bazookas can't do that and can no longer fire when they are out of ammo.
Shadow 1st Hussars
Hmmmm. Aren't special weapons explained in the manual?
EricM
I did look thru the manual before posting but was not sure what was mention was all that was available. Also there was no drawings or photos of the icons themselves so I was not 100% sure and thought it best to ask. Eric
