Subvet
I want one too! I can just see the look on my wifes face when I blow our meager savings on it, yikes! I wonder if it is good on inclines. I'd hate to have to lift it up into my truck bed.

StellarRat
Somewhere (a long time ago) I read about a club (I think in England) that was actually fighting battles with RC tanks. They had "real" weapons are were capable of actually destroying each other. Anyone else remember this?
Pvt. Ryan
I've never heard of that, but I remember reading an articel in a magazine about a club that built scale R/C ship models with turrets that fired BBs. They would shoot to kill and a couple of shots below the waterline could sink a ship.
Subvet
IIRC there were competitions like the show "Battlebots" (it's on Comedy Central) that had less strict rules. You could use projectile shooters, flame, and electrical attacks. These things aren't allowed on the tv show version unfortunately.
Dittohead
In my Military Book club info was a flyer from www.winson.co.uk .They manufacture very high quality and very expensive RR Engine models. They are producing an all metal 1/8th scale Tiger I for the serious model builder. The tank comes in 9 ready to assemble kits and weighs in at 156 lbs They offer electric or aero motors.
