SuperTed
Hi All, Do you remember when sidewalk sales were actually held on sidewalks? Local merchants would set up tables and racks in front of their stores and customers would find great deals throughout the downtown area of their town. Now, at least here in the U.S., these sidewalk sales are being held in shopping malls. Yes, the weather is not a factor. But, a certain charm seems to be missing. In honor of these long-forgotten days when the sense of community was as important as the shopping, Forward Observer is having its first Sidewalk Sale! The Members have set up their tables and are getting everything in order for your shopping pleasure. The weather looks beautiful, so stop over to Main Street at Forward Observer to get the latest updates. There will be dozens of them throughout the weekend. The first posts will be uploaded at around 1800 hours on Friday, April 20. The Sale will officially end at around 2200 hours on Sunday, April 22. (All times are GMT -6:00.) Announcements will be restricted to Forward Observer and Member sites. In other words, the Battlefront forum will NOT be used for this purpose. Enjoy the fun and don't forget your sunscreen.
