dfgardner
Anyone know possible reasons why TCP IP game played (attempted) on one day would not allow connection, while game TCP IP game previous day would? All parameters were the same: ie Zone Alert off, etc. But could not connect either as client or host  Is this a common occurance for those that do TCP/IP play?

Schrullenhaft
I honestly don't have any concrete answers as to why you can't connect in a TCP/IP session. Was this with the same opponent ? Are you trying to finish the previous game and if so are you getting any kind of error sound (though this would typically occur after you've made a connection) ? Is your opponent behind a firewall (hardware or software) ? Is your opponent giving you an accurate IP address. Some IP addressing schemes used by ISPs may not accurately reflect what the rest of the world sees. In situations like this using WINIPCFG (for Windows) would give an inaccurate IP address. If this is the case go to the following website to get your IP address (it's buried underneath some of the ads): IP address resolution: http://northdelta.net/ipadd.asp People do have problems with making TCP/IP connections in CMBO. However I don't think that BTS has been able to single out any consistent TCP/IP problems that could be addressed with a patch to CMBO.
