Opponents???

Recommended Posts

where is the best place to find opponents I find my self waiting and waiting .... for someone at the opponent finder here at battlefront.com. Also, do more people play by email or tcp/ip? I did get some help yesterday from wwb_99 on some tournies but they are full. Thank you for any pointers.

MikeB,

Just a suggestion but include the phrases: "relaxed pace", "easygoing", "friendly", and "1 to 2 turns a day." in your "opponent wanted" ad and you will have more games than you can keep up with.

Those phrases have worked for me every time.

I think most find email easier to play, since you don't have to spend half a day on it. I'm sure TCP/IP is alot of fun, but I don't think most people have that much free time.

I find (this is if you and your opponent both have High speed intrenet) that TCP/IP games can go very fast. If you do a IP game don't do a 50 turn battle. Do a 15-25 turn battle. That way it only takes half an hour (if your opponent isn't a major tactician ;) ).
