MikeB
where is the best place to find opponents I find my self waiting and waiting .... for someone at the opponent finder here at battlefront.com. Also, do more people play by email or tcp/ip? I did get some help yesterday from wwb_99 on some tournies but they are full. Thank you for any pointers. Sledge59
For a quickie you could try the chatroom at CMHQ. Tournaments come up often... just keep an eye out. If you keep a post on the opponent finder for a while you can fill your PBEM plate in a hurry.

StugIII
MikeB, Just a suggestion but include the phrases: "relaxed pace", "easygoing", "friendly", and "1 to 2 turns a day." in your "opponent wanted" ad and you will have more games than you can keep up with. Those phrases have worked for me every time.

I'm sure TCP/IP is alot of fun, but I don't think most people have that much free time.
imported_WARHAMMER
Damn Panzerwerfer, you're all over the place tonight! MikeB
Thanks for all the suggestions i will try the slow and relaxed play by email. I think my wife may appreciate it also.
Pzman
I find (this is if you and your opponent both have High speed intrenet) that TCP/IP games can go very fast. If you do a IP game don't do a 50 turn battle. Do a 15-25 turn battle. That way it only takes half an hour (if your opponent isn't a major tactician ). catnip
Try this phrase: "I have won so many games that I am getting bored of CM".
Goanna
Yes catnip that was amazingly effective wasn't it? Plus, hours of entertainment for us all.
