You have confused your attacking force by issuing an equine halt order(Whoa!) when what you wanted your force to do was inflict woe on your opponent, presumably by destroying the opponent's men and equipment. Armed with this new information, you can now return to the fray safe in the knowledge that you are now firmly in the mechanized era and thus free to wreak havoc on the foe.
