rodan
I was wondering if someone can tell me if the CD for the game comes with both the Mac and PC versions on it. I have a PC at home and an iBook laptop, I would like to install on both machines, so I can play on the road. I e-mailed feedback@battlefront.com, but no response, so I am asking here. Thanks. Schrullenhaft
Yes, the same CD has both the Mac and the PC versions on it. CM uses a "CD presence"-type of copyright protection. So you will need the CM CD in your drive whenever you start to play CM.
Jeff Heidman
I wish there was some way around that. I *hate* having to swap CDs in and out of drives, especially since it takes several seconds for the drive to spool up and recognize the CD. It would be nice if CM had a "Could not find CD. Enter CD and press continue" type dialogue, rather than just dump you back to the desktop. Of course, nicer yet would the ability to just play the game without the CD in the drive...
