Kestrl
I'm really looking forward to BTS finishingTCP/IP and starting on CM2. I'll finally be able to challenge a Panther or Tiger on equal terms with a T34/85. The T34/85 has a 85mm gun with a Max speed of 55Km/h and some tough armor and there is some very good variants, like a flamethrower, self-propelled gun so really looking forward to CM2 and the T34 variants and can't wait to kill some German armor. Mace
For Russkie armour, I prefer the JS2 myself. IMHO, the best WW2 tank would have to be the PzKpfw V Panther. However, I do cede that the T34 (especially the T34/76) and the KV series definitely put the wind up the Germans in 1941. If it wasn't for these appearing on the battlefront, there may not have been the incentive for the Germans to develop the PzKpfw Vs and VIs! Chicago Boy
No Offense Kestrl, but if it was my ass in a tank I would rather be in a Panther myself. Better optics, better armor and probably better overall crew training vs. the T34-85. Now its another story if a JS-II shows up. Cheers from the Windy City. "did you lose my aerial photographs?" Abbott
From my readings the Panther was considered the finest tank built until the early 1950's the world over.
