JimF
Having just installed the patch, I am greatly disappointed. The most visible change is the addition of the text status markers e.g. "shaken", "out of Ammo", etc. that are large, colorful, and unremovable. These markers help destroy the beautiful effects of the 3D map which Big Time worked on so carefully, and spent so much effort in achieving. What is needed it the ability to toggle the appearance of these tags with a key-stroke. They could be summoned at will or dismissed. JIMF
Juju
Erm, Jim, These were always there and are 'toggable' already (shift-G I believe). ------------------ I prefer an enemy who's willing to die for his country. That way both him and me have the same aim in mind.

Jarhead
While on the 3D battle field. Look down on the info display on the bottom of your screen. You will find a button "Hotkeys" click that, and you will see a list of all the "Hotkeys". ------------------ Semper Fi.

Guest MantaRay
Yep, Rob looses quite a few "cool" points on that reply. David Aitken
The 1.1 patch was mainly to introduce TCP/IP two-player games. There are a few other tweaks and fixes, but it's not supposed to have any "visible" changes. David New map!

Guest JAZZA
What is wrong with Rob saying "Read the readme"? It's no different than saying to someone "do a search". [This message has been edited by JAZZA (edited 12-17-2000).]
