Door on Level 2 - How to get the infantry to use it?

Due to combination of hillsides and level 2 buildings, I've been able to add a door to the second level. However, the damn infantry still only use the Level 1 door to get to level 2.

Is there any way to have the infantry use the Level 2 door?

Only to go into the second floor of an attached building, onto a balcony or onto a roof of an attached building.

I think I once managed to let infantry exit a building to such a door, as it was a door to a balcony that was in line with the terrain, and when the soldiers stepped out to get on the balcony, they continued to walk on the ground and had left the building. But it did not work the other way around, it was not possible to let them enter the building through this door.

Thank you both. But it does show that there may be coding which could be modified to allow such an entry or exit from a basement/ground floor sunken into the terrain.
