wolfgang500
I recently experienced Engineer squads who were absolutely unwilling to execute the "blast" order, but instead chose to move in "quick" mode around the obstacle. Of course they got minced because of running straight into enemy fire which I deliberatly wanted to avoid. And yes, I gave the correct order, and yes, they had demo charges available. Sometimes they even chose to run huge detours "around town" instead of breaching, tactically completely impossible. I think I did not experience this before we got the new patches (v2.06 in this case). WTF is going on here? Does anybody have any experience with this phenomenon? chuckdyke
The move order is Quick of what I can see. Highlight the endpoint and change it to blast.

No, the move order is "Blast", take a close look at the dashboard Edited October 7, 2023 by wolfgang500
AlexUK
This used to be a bug in some of the games for sure. I can’t remember if I saw it recently.
wolfgang500
Chuckdyke´s solution is the right one. One has to highlight the endpoint of the movement vector and hit "Blast". A red "Blast" vector will appear and the unit will do what is ordered. I did not know this; and why the "Blast" command is not immediatly activated is beyond me, though. Thankyou Chuckdyke Edited October 7, 2023 by wolfgang500 Typo
Brille
It´s a known bug. But I had only witnessed it on SMAW teams so far. Sadly it hasn´t been fixed over the years... Yeah it is easy to work around but still kind of bothering...especially if you don´t pay attention on this.
