What happened to Steam release?

Please forgive me if this question has already been asked many times, but it seems that the promised release date for Battle of Normandy on Steam never came true.

Has it been delayed, or actually cancelled, and is anything known about the release date at this point?

In this post by Ithikial, the gentleman from Slitherine (forgive me for lack of name, I've not watched the whole piece, just the piece Ithikial kindly paused it on) does actually show March 27th for CMBN under the list for March 2023:
