Ivan Zaitzev
Hello! It's been a long time... My trusty laptop died on me sometime in the beginning of 2022, so I have not been able to play CM. I'm finally able to buy a somewhat old piece of hardware and wanted to check If it will run CM Normandy with modules and CM Italy with Modules, I'm fairly sure it will run Afghanistan. Anyway, the specs are: I5 3rd Gen 16G RAM DDR3 GT1030 Graphics card. Thanks!!
Vacillator
Well welcome back, that's a tough story. I'm playing all CM2 WW2 titles on a laptop with slightly higher spec: Intel i7 6700HQ, with GTX1060. No issues with the games at all. Afghanistan is CM1 so should be less of a burden I think. Hopefully others will come along to confirm or deny...
Schrullenhaft
Yes, you should be able to run CMBN, CMFI and CMA with that hardware. Don't know what your previous laptop had for hardware, so I don't know if you'll see less or more performance than you experienced previously.
Ivan Zaitzev
Thanks for the reply! My laptop was an HP DV6 like this one: https://gadgetaz.com/Laptop/HP_Pavilion_dv6-6135dx--4272 I think this new one is pretty similar, slightly better ram and graphics.
Schrullenhaft
The i5 and the GT 1030 should be a performance improvement over the HP DV6-6135dx model that you linked to.
