spartacusnz1
Hi all This may already have been asked so apologies if it has. Has any thought ever gone into developing a campaign focused on ancient Rome. The level of detail in the Combat Mission games is great and maybe a game developed around Rome and its legions is something worth considering. While we have the Total War series I am not aware of something detailed at the squad and Century level. Just a thought but I thought this system would be ideal for something like that.

You want to use a model of WW2 to build a model of ancient wars???? That’s like using a tank to build a horse cart. I mean, they both have wheels.... On the serious side: I am not quite sure, that a game of Roman warfare a la Simon Scarrow would be fun to play...
Rob2020
Also, GoG has the old Great Battles Collector's Edition, for a few bucks. They don't list it specifically for working on Win10, but I would guess it probably does. The graphics are not as nice as Field of Glory, mentioned above, so that game might be the better way to go nowadays. I did play the Great Battles series years ago and they were good.
