ncc1701e
I am enhancing my first scenario with new things like barbed wire and trench. But, since this object do not have a Face command, how do you change their orientation? I have searched in the manual and I have not found the answer. I have tried playing with Ctrl, Alt or Shift but with no success. Any tips from the experts? Thanks
A Canadian Cat
LOL it is not obvious. Use a second one and place it near and the first will snap to it. After some experimentation you will see how to get the shapes you want. After some frustrating moments and possibly some swearing and you too will be an expert.

domfluff
I think the period reference is FM 5-15 Engineer Field Manual, Field Fortifications 1940, which has a chapter dedicated to swearing, and the correct and appropriate words to utter when placing wire, mines and trenchworks, in varying conditions. For the US anyway. Commonwealth forces delegated their swearing guides to one week during basic training, since they assumed a basic level of pre-existing competency.
Sgt.Squarehead
Allegedly the Russians had specialised 'Swearing Battalions' made up of ex-convicts & deserters.
