So the only way to save your honor is a pbem challenge with the loser having to post a 50 or so word essay on a valid topic such as hamsters or how to use 25 smilies in 1 post. So keep 'em coming! btw, we all know that WW2 was won on the Eastern Front, don't we!? The other Theatres were mere sideshows! Please, we all know that Hitler's secret moon troops and the Free French hamster moon brigades really roughed it up. In all seriousness, IMHO the eastern front was certainly where Hitler fought and lost the bulk of the war. Not to belittle the effort at Normandy, but the Soviets really turned the tide of the war for the Allies. I agree that WWII was won in the Eastern Theatre, but the other Theatres were a little more than sideshows. The invasion of Normandy gave Stalin the second front he so badly needed (he needed it a few years earlier!), as this tied up many of the Germans forces. I watched a documentry on the History Channel the other day explaining that Hitler buried himself when he declared war on the United States. None the less, the Eastern Front was the bloodiest and the worst of the fronts.
