IDILIX
I had around several tens of favorite maps for my CMAK games and would like to import them back into the FB. Can I do that ? If I cant do this, is there a repository for such ol' cmak maps for FB ? I would like re-play them with this new engine. Any help will be much appreciated.
sburke
No CMAK is a completely different engine (CMx1 versus CMFB CMx2). There is no migrating those maps, you'd have to build from scratch.
IDILIX
Is there a place where such 'vintage'' , re-imagined maps are available for the new engine ?
A Canadian Cat
Any new maps would be uploaded to the scenario depot (http://www.thefewgoodmen.com/tsd3/category/cm-final-blitzkrieg/cm-final-blitzkrieg-maps/). There is only one there right now and none are ported from the older games. However the game also ships with master maps that cover plenty of known places. Perhaps one of them covers what you want: http://www.combatmission.lesliesoftware.com/FinalBlitzkrieg/Maps/index.html

I assume it's PC only, because mac version CM1 runs only on obsolete OS 9.... I wonder how good it works?
