The same article says, that they consider a new program to improve the battle readiness of their Leopard 2. Of which Switzerland bought so many in the early 90's, that they will last for the next 100 years. Funny side note: A few years ago, there was a plan to disband some of the Leopard 2 from duty and store them somewhere.
