Here is my simple suggestion (though I recognize it might be difficult to implement): REPLAYS. After a game ends, a stitched together replay of both players turns that has all time-based controls available. The satisfaction level would be HUGE, to watch all of the action as it unfolded and get an exact replication of the entire battle. It would also allow for some great youtube FRAPS footage.
