kevinkin
Not to change the subject too much ... Back in the day (CMBB etc. ) a bunch of us played via email with "gentlemen's rules" allowing only level 1 after and initial look from an overhead map view. Tiny custom battles. That was interesting for a while. There was a pet name for this style of play - can't recall. KevinEdit: we allowed for a hand drawn map of the overhead view for reference. A co
I have been surprised and frustrated by how far LOS extended into some types of forest in CMRT, but I think I am learning from the experience and will be able to interpret the terrain better in the future. And it is probably realistic that a commander will have trouble predicting these things, unless he spends the required time actually testing the LOS.

kevinkin
Darn, that could be them. Almost sure. Thanks Jon. . Kevin
Vergeltungswaffe
They could be applied to any size, not just tiny, but it was definitely Franko's True Combat rules. Still the only way I play against the AI, so on those rare occasions, it's at least a challenge.
