db_zero Posted September 7, 2015 Share Posted September 7, 2015 (edited) I don't think it possible, but thought I would ask if its possible to load maps from other titles and play QB or regular battles in Black Sea. I'm playing CM Italy and looking at some of the maps I'm playing on I though wow this would be a greap map to play a Black Sea battle on. Some of the towns perched on hills would make for an excellent fight. Alot of the Italy maps are simply georgeous. Fromthe sound of it there is more to it htan just converting maps as it seem slike there is some sort of AI imbedded into the maps? For any other map, yes but specific to the scenario and I doubt those maps are as easy to move as you have to delete the forces on map etc. As to CMFI, not sure how building and terrain differences would impact. CMRT was the game immediately preceding CMBS and generally has a lot of the same terrain/building stuff with different textures. I am impressed with what Stagler was able to accomplish, but am not sure that CMFI is going to have the same result with a conversion.
