Is that realistic to ask for an option to switch out HE rounds for smoke? IronCat60 Posted September 3, 2015 Share Posted September 3, 2015 (edited) Wow, having one section or battery dedicated to smoke missions. That is how they do it in the real world. The Artillery command gets the commanders intent order and if it employs smoke missions then a artillery section or battery is selected to perform those mission. The selected units load out reflects the mission assigned by having a majority of smoke rounds and a few HE rounds for targets of opportunity or emergency missions. Great point to bring up!
