RCMW
Hi, I'm having some trouble contacting customer support. In 2009 I got the Combat Mission Shock Force + Marines bundle and a month or so alter the British Forces add-on. A few year after this my hard drive died, and I have moved onto many computers even since that was replaced. Somewhere over the years my backup download went missing and I hoped to be able to re-download the game. I was even thinking of picking up the NATO expansion or maybe Black Sea as they were good games that I'd like to play again. Unfortunately the download has expired, I read on this forum that you can contact customer service and for a small fee they can reactivate your download, but after sending 3 emails to them over a number of months I have had no reply. Is there any other way to download the game client? I have my own key so that wont be a problem. Or another way to contact customer support? I'm turning to the forums here as a last resort, hoping they know what's going on. Thanks.
sburke
weird that you are getting no response and highly unusual. Have you tried opening a ticket? http://battlefront.mojohelpdesk.com/
RCMW
I have sent two to helpdesk@battlefront.com and another to a different email I found but that was a few months ago and I can't remember exactly the one I sent it too. I've used both the in browser email on http://www.battlefront.com/index.php?option=com_contact&task=view&contact_id=3&Itemid=3 and I have sent the emails from my own account to them. I have not had any return, in fact no response at all. I was starting to think the company had shut down. It makes me reluctant to get any of the other Combat Mission games, and I simply can't get the NATO forces module I was planning on. edit, lol when I copy pasted the help email it added the line "helpdesk@battlefront.com is e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it" would that be stopping my emails? Shouldn't as I used both the in built response and my personal email. Edited July 22, 2015 by RCMW
Bud Backer
Perhaps I'm reading more into what you wrote than I should, but it seems that you're saying you emailed three times? That is not the same as opening a help desk ticket. To do that you have to go to the link sburke provided and click the blue "New Ticket" button. That will open this http://battlefront.mojohelpdesk.com/login/create_request#/ticket-form/19756 You should be able to submit that, track it (the system will email you with progress and responses, etc).
RCMW
6 email total on 3 separate occasions. I was using the email given to me on the store page here http://www.battlefront.com/index.php?option=com_contact&task=view&contact_id=3&Itemid=3 In fact that is the only place the store page told me to contact from what I can see. If there was a link to the ticket page it was not very clear, and they should not really have this under support if it is not the support email... Anyway I will send another request in now with the link you just posted. Thank you. I will let you know how it works out .
Bud Backer
Ah, yes, I see. The site is supposed to be totally revamped, I'm sure it will be more functional in the future, and more clear what channel to use for this sort of inquiry. Please to advise us how it went. Typically turnaround times for helpdesk have been excellent, 1- 3 days. Edited July 22, 2015 by Bud_B
RCMW
Excellent, help desk contacted me within a few hours and said new copies of the game don't have a limit on downloads, so they cancelled my old version and gave a code to get a new copy. All fixed now. Was very good service, took a few days, but I think that was more a time-zone problem slowing things down than anything else. When I send an email at 9.30 am here, it is 4.30am in the US. I'm going to put in another ticket just to let them know the email on the website is out of date, I suspect I may not be the only one who has tried to contact them on it.

Doug Williams
Glad it's sorted out for you.Helpful hint: I keep a copy of the installer for each game and all my key codes in Dropbox folders.
