cool breeze Posted July 19, 2015 Share Posted July 19, 2015 Thank you nidan that is very helpful! seems a munch better deal to get one or two of those and some moderate mount of launchers instead of the normal bunch of launchers with only one shot each. John Kettler Posted July 21, 2015 Share Posted July 21, 2015 A most interesting video on GRAN. Was particularly struck by the statement it had the power of a 152 mm shell. Ouch. This is the result of the much greater explosive load possible thanks to the low Gs on mortar projectiles vice gun howitzers, which is what todays artillery should properly be termed. For example trucks tasked to support mortar elements carry mortar ammo, automatic grenade launchers - 40mm.. etc anti air extra iglas or stingers , infantry extra regular ammo and at rockets. sometimes a launcher too. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
