My top picks are...Night Witches- Fictionalized account of an all female bomber group that actualy existed. Look them up.Lemno's Grand Finale- Pure fiction about a musician trying to compose a jazz symphony while serving in the soviet army. Follows him from the Moscow music conservatory to the battle of Kursk.The Innocent- Fictional account of troops in a penal battalion, thrown into the Ryzev campaign.Angel- A nursing student from the university of Kursk volunteers as a field medic.62- The battles of General Vasili Chuikov. Basically about Estonian soldiers in WWII on both sides of the conflict. Not in English though sorry, did have english subs at the cinema.
