Ghost of Charlemagne
Shouldn't APS's be able to be reloaded like smoke dischargers? Edited February 13, 2015 by AtheistDane
dan/california
Apparently their is more to it than that. Its a classic finicky system, specialist job kind of thing, that capability, like actually reloading your vehicle ammo, casualty evac, and a host of other real world issues awaits the mythical logistics module. Which alas requires the even more mythical government contract.
MikeyD
I suppose there might be an issue of carrying spare explosive cassettes around with you. How could you possibly store them safely? So its more like replacing ERA blocks. After the battle you return to the rear area and the mechanics and technicians get to work.
panzersaurkrautwerfer
In addition to all of the above points too, I imagine the US might not have large stocks of APS cassettes given they're supposed to be the result of a torrid affair between a government credit card and the Israelis, likely the sort of thing where there's not enough for tanks to carry more than the ready ammo.
Ghost of Charlemagne
Thanks for the answers guys. So what is the number of APS cassettes that each system can hold? Arena: 6? Trophy: 4? Zaslon: 6? Edited February 13, 2015 by AtheistDane
